Our trade counter is open from 9 am until 6 pm Pacific time, but we operate a 24 hour answering machine and fax line. Please list title, author, and retail price when ordering. Please specify your shipping instructions, purchase order numbers as needed, full billing address, telephone number, and shipping address when different from billing. A 48-page catalog showcasing the books and products for which we are the exclusive distributor to the book trade is available upon request.

NEW ACCOUNTS
New trade customers must pre-pay their first order. Upon receipt of a credit application and references, normal credit will then be extended. Credit terms are 30 days, with initial credit equal to the amount of the first order.
SHIPPING
We ship by UPS unless instructed otherwise. Please supply street address when ordering. For rush orders, specify date needed and method of shipment preferred.
BACKORDERS
Unavailable titles are all backordered with a 90 day cancellation date, unless you indicate otherwise. Please indicate if you would like backorders shipped immediately on receipt, consolidated with separate backorders, or sent with next regular order.
RETURNS
No authorization is necessary for returns made up to one year from original invoice date. Returns older than one year MUST HAVE WRITTEN PERMISSION, which will be granted at the distributor’s discretion. All returns must be in saleable condition. Stickered, inkpriced, shop-worn or otherwise damaged books will NOT be credited. Returns damaged in shipment to us will not be credited—PLEASE PACK CAREFULLY. Books are credited 40% with invoice information, 50% WITHOUT. Credit is applied to future purchases, and must be used within one year. We do not give cash refunds. Please ensure that the books you want to return were supplied by us.

CLAIMS
In case of damage or other fulfillment error, we accept immediate returns. Claims for shortages or mis-shipments must be made within 30 days of invoice date. Please provide invoice details on all claims. Credit will be issued, or damaged items replaced, immediately upon notification.
MAGAZINES
Magazines/Periodicals/Journals are all available at a discount of 30%. Standing orders are available on ALL titles listed. Front cover returns are required on all titles—please check with us for periodicity of each title.
FOREIGN ACCOUNTS
Payment should be made in US funds drawn on US bank. Any charges for foreign checks will be billed back to you. Shipments are sent by international bookpost, surface mail, unless specified otherwise.
DISTRIBUTION OF AK PRESS TITLES
Titles published by AK PRESS are available from the following distributors/wholesalers: Consortium, Last Gasp, No Idea, Tree of Knowledge, Ingram, Baker & Taylor, Disticore in Canada, Microcosm, Profane Existence, Jura Books in Australia, and Virus in Spain. We encourage you to go to whatever source is most convenient. Wholesale terms are available on all AK PRESS titles.
